I designed a swimming pool for this lakefront property. A wonderful
view of the lake can be seen from the patio above the pool. From this upper level a waterfall cascades into the pool itself.
This is a vinyl liner pool. This is a good choice if you are looking to save some money...with many projects it is difficult to tell the difference between a vinyl pool and a concrete one, if done right. And it even has a waterfall!
The rectilinear shape allows for easy installation of an automatic pool cover.
Colored concrete can be a pool paving consideration as
it is relatively inexpensive compared to pavers or other harscape
materials. A design of 18 or 24" squares can be used (example) for
an interesting pattern, rather than just a large concrete slab.
This was the property prior to the new design!
